I’m a self-taught home cook whose earliest memories are in the kitchen, helping my grandmother stir scrambled eggs when I could barely reach the stovetop, and begging my mother for an Easy-Bake Oven.

I decided to level-up my own beginner cooking skills while at my first full-time job out of college…making $8 an hour. Weekends were spent watching Food Network, asking tons of questions at the farmer’s market, and a lot of trial and error! But before too long, my budget lunch contents were the envy of colleagues who just spent $15 on another salad.

Over time, I combined my love of storytelling, belief in cooking as a form of self-care and empowerment, and the abundance of fresh produce and vibrant flavors in my native Southern California to finally start a business that comes to you with virtual cooking lessons!

This business is a passion project, inspired by helping some friends work through a few of their own personal cooking hangups. I’m excited you’re here, and I hope you’ll bring me along when you start your own culinary journey.

(Eventually, I did get an Easy-Bake Oven, but only played with it once after realizing baking one cookie at a time just wouldn’t cut it.)
